Caroline turns 5 (December 2016)

In December, our precious little girl turned 5. I seriously wonder where the last five years have gone. A few things about our little girl, but I must share a precious photo first!

What Caroline wants to be when she grows up: A teacher and she say's she going to teach fitness classes like her Mommy

Her favorite foods: Hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chicken, peanut butter & jelly, cottage cheese, cheese, and green beans

Foods she doesn't like: Broccoli, lettuce, steak, tomatoes, and cucumbers

Favorite activities: Reading and dance class

Bedtime: 7:30 p.m. (if it is much later, she is a hot mess the next day)

Her best friend: Madeline

Thing she hates the most: Getting up in the morning. She is not a morning person at all.

Favorite activity at daycare: Writing center - she loves spelling things and writing numbers.

While outside: She loves to ride her bike, drive the John Deere Gator, and Police car.

While inside: She loves to play with her babies and doll house

Even though our little girl is growing up, we couldn't be more proud of her. She is such an avid learner and say's she is a genius just like her Daddy. Yes, I may have told her that a time or two. She loves spending time with her brother and picking him up and carrying him around, which totally annoys his at times.

She will begin Kindergarten in August. I seriously wonder where the time has gone. In July we celebrated her half birthday with her brother and had a fun birthday party at her dance studio with some of her best friends from her class.

The theme of her party was Disney! She loves Mickey Mouse and Frozen. She wanted a Frozen cake so I ensured she had a fun one. The first two layers were easy to make because I made them the week before - they are styrofoam covered in fondant. Only the top layer is real cake!

Her birthday party was planned by the dance studio and was such a fun time! The parents could sit back and relax while the teacher entertained them for 45-minutes.

The cake was nearly taller than her.

Getting them to all look at the camera at the same time was impossible.
Opening gifts from all her friends was an adventure. Her brother wanted to be right there by her and so did a lot of her friends towards the end.

We look forward to what this next year will bring with our little princess!
