Easter weekend 2015

Shortly before Easter, we did our annual Easter Bunny photo. Neither of the kids seemed to really like the Easter bunny this year.
Wondering if her brother will protect her from the bunny.

Our Easter weekend consisted to two weekends to host our families. The weekend before Easter, Dave's family came to our house. The kids had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma and we had a delicious meal.

Now that our basement is finished, it allowed for a nice space to relax and enjoy each others company.

The Wilwerding family. It was impossible to get a photo with everyone looking at the camera.
The Wilwerding grandkids. Typical move of R-man pulling his sister's hair.
Having fun playing with trains.
Having fun playing "go fish" with Grandma.
The french braid Diane did in Caroline's hair.
This past weekend, we hosted the Bruck family Easter, which consisted of 20 people. We had a great lunch and the kids took part in an Easter egg hunt after everything was cleaned up. Since we had nine kids, we split them up so just the three smaller kids were in the front yard and the bigger kids got to hunt for eggs on the remainder part of our property.

The Bruck family - I was surprised we captured a photo with nearly everyone looking.

R-man excited to hunt for eggs.
Wondering if it's okay to pick this egg up.
Little-C trying to gather as many eggs as she can.
Excited she found a colorful egg.
Checking out each other's basket to see how many they each got.
Grandpa and Grandma with the grandkids after the egg hunt.
Enjoying the beautiful weather in the backyard.
My little buddy and I.
Since most of the family was together for Easter, we celebrated Jacob's birthday. He is 11 years old and loves baseball!

It was a great Easter and thankfully the weather was warm so everyone could enjoy our new neighborhood!
