Family day at the zoo

A week ago, we took the family to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. We weren't sure what the trip would be like since it was technically still winter, but there were quite a few animals to see. We arrived around 10:30 a.m. and it was actually beautiful weather.

Little-C couldn't wait to see her favorite animal, but I couldn't manage to get a good photo of her.

The kids were excited to go to the petting zoo. I was surprised Little-C went so close to the goats and even managed to pet them. It was funny because she saw one go number two and she said, the goats poop like beans!

They both enjoyed petting the goat.

Seeing the gorilla's up close and personal was a fun surprise. It was fun to see Little-C stare at the gorilla.

We attempted to get a family photo, but as usual those never go too well. To get both kids to look at the same time is nearly impossible.

After we left the zoo both kids were pretty tired. Little-C was having fun playing with her giraffe and her brother's gorilla that she got from the gift shop.
R-man was pretty tired.
Enjoying a beverage with her sunglasses while the giraffe looks out the window.
